A simple process

Step 1. Call and clarity
We meet on Zoom. You tell me who you are speaking for, how you feel about it, and what time you have before the day. We agree a simple plan.Step 2. Content and structure
We pull out the right stories and details, then build a structure that fits your role. You leave the session knowing what to say, in what order, and how long it should run.Step 3. Rehearsal and delivery
We work on how you sound and how you stand. You learn what to do with your notes, your voice and your body, so you are not guessing when you stand up.Every session is live and practical.
You leave with clear notes and next steps, not vague theory.

I offer two clear one to one options, so you can choose the level of support that suits you. If your speech is close and you need fast, focused input, we can work in a single emergency session. If you would rather have guidance from first ideas to final rehearsal, there is a three session package that takes you through the whole process.

I am John, a wedding speech coach, comedian and actor, based in Scotland, working with clients across the UK and worldwide on Zoom.
I coach people every day on public speaking and communication, from business leaders to nervous first time speakers. I understand exactly how it feels to stand up with everyone watching, and I know how to make that moment feel manageable. As your wedding speech coach, my job is to give you a clear process, reduce the stress and make sure you feel prepared on the day.When we work together my focus is simple. How far in advance should I get in touchAs soon as you know you are speaking is ideal. That said, I often work with people in the final week before the wedding. If your date is very close, use the Emergency Speech Session and we will focus on what will help you most in the time you have.Do you write the speech for meWe build it together. I help you find the stories and structure, and I work closely with your draft, but the voice stays yours. That way you sound natural and honest, not like you are reading lines from someone else.Can you help with any kind of weddingYes. I work with a range of roles, styles and wedding traditions.
